The Education Team meets regularly at Ruby Tuesday’s on Robert Smalls Parkway in front of Walmart. There are plenty of local actions available to the group, considering one of our elementary schools is among the state’s poorest performers. At the state level, South Carolina flirts with violating a recent US court decree insisting it raise the education in districts with few resources. Action items are still being formulated.
